City Of Dillsboro Indiana

Dillsboro (originally spelled Dillsborough) was founded in 1830 by
Mathia Whetsone and listed as a "prosperous village of 500
inhabitants," seemingly mostly Methodists and Lutherans, according to
the 1882 Polk Directory. It had "a daily stage to Farmers' Retreat and
Friendship." The town was named for General James Dill, clerk of the
circuit court at the time.  Dill was also a soldier in the War of 1812,
the first Dearborn County recorder, and a member of the 1816 Indiana
Constitutional Convention.

According to citytowninfo.com, Dillsboro is considered part of the
Cincinnati, OH, metropolitan community.
